The Sindhi grammar allows you to manipulate the vocabulary to obtain multiple forms of a word. The grammatical rules below are the most important in Sindhi and help connect words or shape the structure. We start with the prepositions:
And: ۽ | Under: هيٺان |
Before: پهرين | After: پوءِ |
Inside: اندر | Outside: ٻاهر |
With: سان | But: پر |
For: لاءِ | From: پاران |
To: ڏانهن | In: ۾ |
To ask questions, use the following:
What?: ڇا؟ | Who?: ڪير؟ |
How?: ڪيئن؟ | Why?: ڇو؟ |
Where?: ڪٿي؟ |

Never: ڪڏهن بـ نـ | Rarely: ورلي |
Sometimes: ڪڏهن ڪڏهن | Usually: عام طور تي |
Always: سدائين | Very: گھڻو |
Most commonly used pronouns in Sindhi:
I: مان | You: تون |
He: هوُ | She: اها |
We: اسان | They: اهي |
To express the possession of something [possessive form]:
My: منهنجو | Your: توهانجو |
His: هن جو | Her: انهي جو |
Our: اسانجو | Their: انهن جو |
Some random verbs to show how it's being used:
I speak English: مان انگريزي ڳالهائيندو آهيان |
You speak French: تون فرينچ ڳالهائين ٿو |
He speaks German: هو جرمن ڳالهائي ٿو |
She speaks Italian: هوءَ اطالوي ڳالهائي ٿي |
I visited France: مان فرانس گھميس |
I will drink milk: مان کير پيئندس |

I understand you: مان توهانجي ڳالھ سمجهان پيو |
I don't understand you: مونکي توهانجي ڳالھ سمجھ ۾ نٿي اچي |
I don't speak French: مان فرينڄ نٿو ڳالهائي سگھان |
