Uyghur Grammar
The Uyghur grammar allows you to manipulate the vocabulary to obtain multiple forms of a word. The grammatical rules below are the most important in Uyghur and help connect words or shape the structure. We start with the prepositions:

| Before: بۇرۇن [burun] | After: كېيىن [këyin] |
| Inside: ئىچىدە [ichide] | Outside: تېشىدا [tëshida] |
| With: لىق\لىك ،بىلەن […/liq/lik ,bilen] | But: ئەمما [emma] |
| For: ئۈچۈن [üchün] | From: دىن\تىن [...din/tin] |
| To: غا\قا\گە\كە […gha/qa/ge/ke] | In: دا\تە [da/te ] |
Questions and Adverbs
To ask questions, use the following:
| What?: نېمە؟ [nëme?] | Who?: كىم؟ [kim?] |
| How?: قانداق؟ [qandaq?] | Why?: نېمە ئۈچۈن؟ [nëme üchün?] |
| Where?: نەدە؟ [nede?] |
Some of the most important time adverbs:
| Never: ئەسلا [esla] | Rarely: كەمدىن كەم،ئاندا ساندا [kemdin kem,anda sanda] |
| Sometimes: بەزىدە [bezide] | Usually: ئادەتتە [adette] |
| Always: ھەر دائىم [her daim] | Very: بەك،ئىنتايىن [bek,intayin] |
Most commonly used pronouns in Uyghur:
| I: مەن [men] | You: سىز،سەن [siz,sen] |
| He: ئۇ [u] | She: ئۇ [u] |
| We: بىز [biz] | They: ئۇلار [ular] |
To express the possession of something [possessive form]:
| My: مېنىڭ [mëning] | Your: سىزنىڭ [sizning] |
| His: ئۇنىڭ [uning] | Her: ئۇنىڭ [uning] |
| Our: بىزنىڭ [bizning] | Their: ئۇلارنىڭ [ularning] |
Grammar in a sentence
Some random verbs to show how it's being used:
| I speak English: مەن ئېنگلىزچە سۆزلەيمەن [men Ën'glizche sözleymen] |
| You speak French: سىز فرانسۇزچە سۆزلەيسىز [siz Fransuzche sözleysiz] |
| He speaks German: ئۇ نېمىىسچە سۆزلەيدۇ [u Nëmische sözleydu] |
| She speaks Italian: ئۇ ئىتالىيانچە سۆزلەيدۇ [u Italiyanche sözleydu] |
| I visited France: مەن فرانسىينى زىيارەت قىلدىم [men Fransiyni ziyaret qildim] |
| I will drink milk: مەن سۈت ئىچىمەن [men süt ichimen] |
Some extra grammatical structures:
| I understand you: مەن سىنى چۈشىنىمەن [men sini chüshinimen] |
| I don't understand you: مەن چۈشەنمىدىم [men chüshenmidim] |
| I don't speak French: مەن فرانسۇزچە سۆزلىيەلمەيمەن [men Fransuzche sözliyelmeymen] |
| This is my house: بۇ مېنىڭ ئۆيۈم [bu mëning öyüm] |
| That restaurant is far: ئۇ تاماقخانا يېراق [u tamaqxana yëraq] |
| No problem: چاتاق يوق [chataq yoq] |
